Treasure Repository³q@ The Shoso-in Treasure Reoository, which is located in the northeast of Todaiji Temple, was constructed in the Nara Period and is well known for its Azekura style of architecture. It is a wooden structure. This unique construction method was especially devised to maintain a regular level of humidity and temperature inside by means of the natural expansion and construction of the logs. |
