It is the schedule of MIKOSHI in New season.

Fujisawa A New Year's Eve MIKOSHI New year's Day

Yugyo temple(Fujisawa station on JR Toukaidou Line)
In that a bell in the New Year's Eve rings in Yugyo temple precincts, it goes out Mantou MIKOSHI.

Kasukabe A New Year's day festival New year's Day

Yasaka-KatoriInari shrine(Kasukabe station on Tobu-Noda Line)
In the new year, the MIKOSHI does a coming-out streak.

Kawasaki/Todehoncho New year's MIKOSHI New year's Day

Shinmei sherine(It gets off Yakoh Station on JR Nanbu-Line,and walk for about 10 minutes)
It's the first MIKOSHI on the year.

Enoshima The Midwinter MIKOSHI chastening meeting. Jan. 3rd Sun.

Higashi-hama(KataseEnoshima Station on Odakyu Line)
It's a Coming-of-Age Day's festival that is midwinter swiming with the portable shrines.

Izu Ohshima The camellia festival in Ohshima Jan.the last Sun.

Motomati(Motomati Harber of Toukai-steamer on Ohsima line)
The three portable shrines is parading Motomati Street with Miss "ANKO".

February (Kisaragi)
It is MIKOSHI in the midwinter.
In each place, it is done by the main constituent in the snow festival.

Fukushima/Tadami The snow festval in Tadami Feb. 2nd Sat.

Tadami-cho (Tadami Station on JR Tadami-Line)
In the place which is decorated with the snow monuments, it's going out the events that is the firework and the MIKOSHI-carring with all kinds.

Harajuku The festival of National Founding Day Feb. 11th(National Founding Day)

Meiji-Jingu(Harajuku Station on JR Yamanote-Line)
The six portable shrines is parading from Omotesando Street to Meiji Shinto shrine with same brass bands.

March (Yayoi)
There is a MIKOSHI event hardly in this month.

Yoyogi MIKOSHI of praying reversion of the northern territory Mar. 20th(Vernal Equinox Day)

The Yoyogi olympic park(Harajuku Station on JR Yamanote-Line)
It's a event of praying reversion of the northern territory. This event stops since 1997.

Kawasaki The citizen festival in Kawasaki Nov. 3

Kawasaki city office street(Kawasaki Station on JR Line)
The last day of the citizen festival, it parades with several portable shrines.

Ohtemachi The national festival to celebrate 10 of His Majesty the Emperor accession Nov. 12 in 1999

The Imperial Palace Plaza(Tokyo station on JR Line)
It is a celebration parade from 14:50. In of Chiyoda street of the side of the Nijubashi, two pieces of Kanda's and Sanno's MIKOSHI go out.

Shinjuku The 300th anniversary's festival of NaitoShinjuku Nov. 28 in 1998

The five of city-MIKOSHI & four of sign-MIKOSHI are parading on Shinjuku street.

December (Shiwasu)
It is December to be busy with something.
However, there are few event of MIKOSHI in this time.

Utunomiya The grand festival of Futara-san shrine Dec. 15

Nikko Futarasan shrine(Utunomiya Station on Tobu Line)
The sign broth: PM4:00 This festival is done on December 15th and on January 15th. Going out from the sign broth to the temporary shelter in December and going out from the temporary shelter to the entering to the sign in January.
